Dungeon Hunter 4 - Lessons for Property Investment

I have been addicted to this MORPG recently and am more than halfway thru. I share with all the enlightenment that I have gleaned from playing the game, which can be applied to property investment.

1. Sharpen your skills and ability to spot good hits early on in the game. If you have only 1 strike at the daily Lottery Wheel of Fortune, make it count and make it effective. (considering all measures and restrictions in place, make the best purchase decision based on circumstances TODAY and not based on what ifs and maybes tomorrow)

2. Identify the most difficult threat in the battle field and conquer it first before addressing the lesser problems. Otherwise it becomes your Archilles heel hampering you every step you take. (know what you want right from the start)

3. If you have a limited budget, buy the tool that can give you the most leverage. Especially if it offers you the ability to deal damage faster, better, greater. With that you will earn returns much faster to allow you to make that next strike weapon purchase earlier. (get one that gives best cap gain and yield returns in absolute dollars)

4. When cooperating with others in a joint strike, always do your part and watch the situation. If your comrades need extra fire power, do what you can. Do not stand around idling. Even if your life force is near empty, run away from the enemies and allow your life points to recharge naturally to preserve your position in the game. Remember. Always take care of yourself before others. Because only at the end of the fight will you collect the big prize. (how to partake in joint investments)

5. Combining your charms may give you a more shining and powerful merged jewel but it is not a synergistic effect. It is nice to look at but doesnt give you returns as good. The sum is less than the total of its parts. Only merge them if you absolutely need the pocket space to manage less charms. Otherwise, the sustained effect is much greater used together in separate pieces at the same time. (few D14 MM vs one glamourous D9)

6. When you meet each stage boss, know immediately their weak point and penchant. Strike where it hurts them most and do it quickly and deeply. If you are just trying your luck, you will most likely lose the battle. (make sure your pitch or offer hits where it matters most and dont beat around the bush or play waiting game)

7. Weapons are necessity, but rings (agents) help you achieve progress faster. Rarer rings usually cost you more and are harder to find but they are very effective and should be kept and worn at all times.

8. Sometimes it may not be a good time to level up (upgrade) depending on your inventory and weapon arsenal. You may be biting off more than you can chew when you get stuck not able to make any progress (cant sell nor rent) even before meeting the next stage boss (buyer or seller)
